Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 April 2026
We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this website or book a photography session with us, how we use it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).
1. Data controller
Valorem Management SL
NIF: B67581801
Ferran Agulló 22, ENT 2, 08021 Barcelona, Spain
Email: photos@valorem.management
2. What personal data we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may process the following personal data:
- Booking enquiry form: your name, email address, requested shoot date, location, package preference, occasion and any message you include.
- Direct contact: information you share with us via WhatsApp, email or phone (including your phone number when you message us on WhatsApp).
- Technical information: standard web server logs such as IP address, browser type, referring page and timestamps. These logs are used for security and debugging only.
We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data (such as health, political opinions, or religious beliefs).
3. Purpose of processing
- Responding to your enquiry and providing information on our photography services.
- Organising, delivering and invoicing photography sessions that you book.
- Sending you the photo gallery and delivery confirmations.
- Complying with our legal obligations (tax, accounting, consumer law).
4. Legal basis
We rely on the following legal bases, in line with Article 6 of the GDPR:
- Performance of a contract or steps to enter into a contract (when you request a booking).
- Legal obligation (to comply with Spanish tax and commercial law).
- Legitimate interest in operating, securing and improving our website.
- Consent (for example for optional marketing communications, if offered).
5. Data retention
Booking and invoicing data are kept for the period required by Spanish law — typically five (5) years for commercial records and six (6) years for accounting records (Article 30 of the Spanish Commercial Code). Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for up to twelve (12) months and then deleted.
6. Recipients of your data
Your data is not sold or rented to third parties. It may be shared with:
- Email, messaging and gallery-hosting providers strictly necessary to deliver the service (for example WhatsApp / Meta when you message us there; the photographer's cloud storage provider to deliver your gallery).
- Our accountant and the Spanish tax authority as required by law.
- Competent public authorities when legally required.
7. International transfers
Some of our service providers (for example Google Fonts, used to display this website's typography, or WhatsApp) are based in the United States or transfer data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards approved by the European Commission.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR and the LOPDGDD, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request rectification of inaccurate data.
- Request erasure ("right to be forgotten").
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Request data portability.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
You can exercise any of these rights by emailing photos@valorem.management. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting.
If you believe we are not handling your data lawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at www.aepd.es.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration. Transmission over the internet is never 100% secure; we encourage you to use up-to-date browsers and strong passwords on any accounts you use with our services.
10. Images of persons photographed
Photographs taken during a session may be used by Valorem Management SL for portfolio, social-media and website display only with the separate written consent of the persons photographed. A short model-release form is provided before or at the shoot. You can withdraw this consent at any time for future uses by writing to photos@valorem.management.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most recent version is always available at this URL. When changes are material, we will publish a notice on the site.
